Our Commitment
Profitable trading and responsible stewardship go hand in hand. We invest in people, communities, and the environment every day.
Sustainability Statement
At Adzoyi Gold, we recognise that our business exists within a broader ecosystem of people, communities, and the natural environment. We have a responsibility to ensure that the wealth extracted from Ghana's earth creates lasting benefit for those who live on it.
Our sustainability framework is built on three pillars: Environmental Stewardship, Community Investment, and Ethical Governance. Each trade we complete contributes a portion of profit towards our CSR fund.
We source exclusively from licensed miners in Ghana, ensuring zero support for illegal "galamsey" activity that causes irreparable environmental damage.
Our Framework
We partner only with miners who comply with Ghana's Environmental Protection Agency standards. Our team monitors land reclamation and water management at all partner sites.
A portion of every trade contributes to the Adzoyi Community Reinvestment Fund, which finances education, health, and infrastructure projects in Nsuta and surrounding communities.
Zero tolerance for corruption, money laundering, or conflict gold. Our compliance team performs rigorous KYC/AML screening on all trade partners and supply chain participants.
Community Impact
Providing 25 scholarships annually to students from mining families in Tarkwa and Nsuta. Covers school fees, uniforms, books, and WASSCE examination fees through secondary school.
For every kilogram of gold we trade, a tree is planted in the Western Region. We partner with Ghana's Forestry Commission to restore disturbed land near active mining areas.
Free annual health screening, PPE provision, and safety training for 200+ artisanal miners in our supplier network. Partnered with the Ghana Health Service.
Funding borehole drilling and water purification systems in three communities along the Nsuta Road corridor where mining activities have impacted local water sources.
Environment
We categorically refuse to purchase gold from illegal small-scale miners. Every gram we source is traceable to a licensed operation with a valid Minerals Commission permit.
We actively encourage and support our supplier miners to transition to mercury-free gold processing techniques, protecting both miners and community water sources.
We publish an Annual Sustainability Report documenting our environmental impact, CSR expenditure, and progress against our stated commitments. Transparency is non-negotiable.
Our ESG credentials make Adzoyi Gold the preferred partner for ethically-committed investors and buyers worldwide.
